James (Jay) Moran
President and Founder
Mr. Moran is an investment banking veteran with more than 35 years of transaction experience. He been the lead advisor in more than 85 successfully completed transactions on behalf of his clients. Mr. Moran has advised clients in numerous segments of the microelectronics, microwave, semiconductor, communications and lighting industries. Mr. Moran founded Liger Capital Advisors in 2005 to focus on clients in the electronics, defense and semiconductor industries. Randall Carlson
Director
Randall Carlson has over 20 years of merger and acquisitions experience. He interfaces with senior executives looking for transaction opportunities. Prior to joining Liger, Randall was a management consultant with Arthur D. Little, focusing on telecommunications, networking and media companies. Previously, he was a Director at the Yankee Group and a senior Engineer with Nortel Networks. At Nortel, he resided in Europe and was responsible for customer care and engineering support. Daryl Tulimieri
Director
Daryl Tulimieri is an experienced business leader with a successful track record of organic and inorganic growth. He has been a deal sponsor with Owens Corning and led numerous growth strategy and diligence engagements as a McKinsey consultant. Daryl was the founding VP of GLG’s Corporate Strategic Projects, a consulting services business. He brings the perspective needed to assess commercial leadership, product differentiation, synergy potential, and integration barriers. Daryl has a BA from Wesleyan University, PhD in Physics from Penn State, and MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Barry Wiley
Director
Mr. Wiley has over 35 years of executive level experience in the global semiconductor industry including starting and staffing successful operations both though stand alone venture backed companies and as an executive with public companies. Mr. Wiley was the VP of Sales and Marketing at Catalyst Semiconductor a manufacturer of memory and analog mixed signal products. Prior to that, he was a senior executive at Cherry Semiconductor in their analog mixed signal semiconductor group serving the automotive industry.
